Lindberg Christmas

We had a nice relaxing Christmas at home with the dogs. We woke up at 8:30 to take Buster out and decided to stay up and open presents. We opened up all of our awesome gifts and then enjoyed cinnamon rolls for breakfast. We were/are a little worried about Buster because it looks like his urinary tract infection might have come back into play. We called the vet and they said not to worry quite yet. He was fine last night and this morning so far though so we're trying not to worry too much.

We spent the rest of the day watching Despicable Me and Toy Story 3 and had a pizza for dinner. We're fairly non-traditional anyway.

Our beautiful tree. Notice the Chicago Bulls, Dallas Mavericks, and Kansas Jayhawk ornaments. We debated doing an all sports tree.

The dogs who swore they've been good all year. ;)

Our two year Christmas tradition. Decorating sugar cookies!

Matt's Christmas gear; new shoes, new socks, some shirts, some CD's, and Toy Story 3.

My goodies; new shoes, new socks, a new sweater, an awesome pink robe, Despicable Me, Sex and the City 2, and the new Reba CD!

The dogs got some new toys and some bones!

Due Date Change and Vacay!

Some of you may have wondered why I changed the pregnancy ticker on the top of my blog. Well...they changed my due date...AGAIN. Here's the story- based on my LMP (you don't want to know) they figured my due date as June 14th, which was what I was going with. I went and got my ultrasound and pushed me back a week because the baby was smaller than it was supposed to be at the point I was supposedly at. Most of my friends told me to go with my ultrasound due date of June 20th because it's usually more accurate. I went to the doctor a couple of weeks ago and he decided to keep me on my first due date, so now I'm due on June 14th again.

I'm officially 15 weeks today and am beginning to feel a tad bit better. I still think food sounds disgusting and am having lots of nausea at night, but my nurse friend and fellow pregnant lady Jeana told me that my hormones must be spiking at night instead of the morning. Hormones cause the ickiness and since most women have this in the morning...they have MORNING sickness. But me...I have night sickness. Ick. I've been working on my baby registry and it's so much fun picking out cute stuff for the baby. We'll find out the sex of our little one at our January 18th appointment. I'll be sure to keep you all posted! I can't wait to find out so I can start calling our panda "he" or "she" instead of "it." Plus, I want to pick out some cute clothes :)

On to some non-baby news. As some of you know we were going to make the 13 hour drive to Kansas next week for Christmas to visit my family. Because of about 10 different factors we decided not to make the trip this time of year. Driving over the mountains is terrible anyway, but especially this time of year. Plus, we weren't in the mood to take the dogs with us and drive the entire family crazy! The plan is to travel to Kansas sometime in the 3rd week of March so mark your calendars!

Oh and if you're wondering what we're doing with our days off...NOTHING. We've decided to keep our previous days off and spend some time together. Matt has been working like a madman lately and I need a break from work so we'll be spending our lovely five day weekend doing nothing but relaxing, watching movies, and spending time with the dogs. Needless to say, I'm actually pretty excited about doing nothing. I may catch up on some homework in there since I have the next two weeks off, but spending time with my husband and dogs sounds fantastic :)

Inching towards the 2nd Trimester!!

I realize I didn't write much on our pregnancy post, but I didn't really think it was necessary!!

I added a ticker to the top of the blog so you would be able to track our progress, if you want to. I'm currently 12w4d along and will be in the 2nd trimester as of Monday!! We have another appt. on Wednesday and will have another one in January to find out the sex of the baby. People keep asking if we're going to find out and honestly, this shouldn't even be asked! OF COURSE we'll find out! I'm way too impatient to deal with a secret like this. Our dr. keeps asking if we want a boy or a girl and I don't think either of us care for the first one. I mean, we want one of both eventually, so whichever comes first...as long as he/she is healthy is fine with us:)

I really can't complain tons about the first trimester. I did have some nausea that came and went. The worst part is that food just doesn't taste good. Things that I normally love just don't taste as delicious. I'm looking forward to this symptom ENDING!! One of the great things is that all types of fast food have sounded awful. I tried doing Mcdonalds or Burger King, but it just doesn't satisfy the taste buds. Chili cheese tots from Sonic, which are normally my favorite thing ever aren't nearly as good as they were before. I've had more headaches than normal and have gone to bed sick feeling almost every night, but luckily it all disappears before I wake up!

People keep asking if I've had any of the normal pregnancy cravings and I'm here to report that I haven't been craving pickles and peanut butter or anything weird. The only things I've craved so far are potatoes and Doritos. And when I say potatoes I mean ANY type of potatoes. For example, I had mashed potatoes and mixed veggies for lunch last night. Delicious! Scalloped potatoes, potato chips, french fries, anything.

I'm excited for the second trimester, but it feels weird that 12 weeks are already gone. Only 28 to go!

Breaking News!!

It's that time again folks, the time where you finally figure out what we've been leading up to.

Here it goes.... we're getting another dog!!

Okay...just kidding, we're not. We couldn't handle another bundle of energy like those two. But we are indeed PREGNANT!

Most of you who read this blog probably already figured this out because of how long we waited, but we made the official announcement to the world today. We found out the day after our one year anniversary. I know, cute right? I went to the dentist that morning and had been thinking about testing just so assure myself that my "monthly friend" was showing up soon. I went back to work, took the test and was amazed at my result.

I was in total shock! I didn't know what else to do because I didn't think I could make it through a phone conversation with Matt so I text messages him the photo. He replied, :) . He called me 10 seconds later and that was that.

We've been to one doctors appointment and also did the early ultrasound just to verify everything was okay. Only one baby, thank goodness.

Here's the first photo of baby Lindberg :)

Our estimated due date is June 20th, which was moved back from June 14th. I still fit into my jeans (yay!) and have been fairly lucky on the common pregnancy symptom front. The nausea comes and goes, but as a rule...I've been much luckier than some of the terrible stories I've heard!!

Sorry if the wait was too long, but you know how that goes:)

I *heart* autumn weather!

And before anybody asks...still staying mum on the news ;)

Not a whole lot has been going on in our house lately. Buster and Bella seem to be acting more crazy than usual lately, which I'm assuming has something to do with the weather, which has been wacky lately.

A couple of weeks ago it got really really cold, down to mid-low 30's. We had a lovely mixture of rain, sleet, and even some snow flakes throughout the day. We even had to break out our winter coats to survive! What made it so awful was that the weekend before it rained ALL WEEKEND so the dogs had to stay inside, which they don't like. Our backyard has some areas where the grass isn't there so it gets muddy. Naturally, we took them out the front lawn so they didn't get muddy. After spending a solid week inside and out of the backyard, they were more than happy when things dried out and they got to go back out. It's supposed to be a little cooler next week, bummer.

The weather the last week has been GORGEOUS! Highs in the 60's with lows in the 30's (totally normal.) The daytime has been beautiful and I'm super mad I don't work outside to enjoy it! The leaves are turning beautifully as well. One of these days I'll try to snap some photos! The mountains have a gorgeous coat of snow on them and look extremely majestic when you're driving south on Townsend Ave.

In other news, I'm pretty sure my new class might kill me. After complaining the last few classes were super easy, this new one is ridiculous! It took me close to two hours to finish my homework, which was a measly 5 questions. I haven't taken accounting since sophomore year so I'm not looking forward to getting back into the technical side of it again! Wish me luck!

Otherwise, can't wait to share our secret. Be patient. It won't be much longer!

Cupcake Adventures

I finally decided to get rid of some of the pictures from my camera. There has been some new developments in the Lindberg household, but we're staying mum on the news for now!

In other news, I decided to make cupcakes from scratch. I blame Brenna for being such an overachiever and making me feel bad. I decided on a chocolate cupcake with peanut butter frosting. The cake was a new experience for me. It included ingredients that I had NEVER used in baking before. I had to brew a pot of coffee to include in the batter. I also used sour cream, which seemed ridiculous to me but Brenna claims it's normal for chocolate cupcakes. The peanut butter frosting was absolutely DELICIOUS. I'm pretty sure you could frost anything with it and it would taste good. My co-worker reminded me that dog poop probably wouldn't, so I stopped using that explanation. After all was finished I topped them with Reese's Pieces as garnish and gave them out after our anniversary party so I wouldn't have a billion left. I ended up snagging one or two and they were interesting. The frosting gave it most of the taste because the actual cupcake didn't seem too chocolately. Maybe I'll use more cocoa next time.:)

I also have some adorable dog photos to show you so stay tuned! It's raining here so we're going to spend the night with a large pizza, breadsticks, watching the Office and Outsourced, and shows from our DVR we missed last night.

Here are some photos of the cupcakes- I know they don't look as yours Brenna!

Usually Buster is chewing the bone, but apparently he was being nice to Bella.

Now for some cupcake pictures!!!

One Year Anniversary and...SURPRISE!

Sorry for the lack of blog posts recently. Seems like we've been busier than usual lately!

For those of you who didn't remember our one year anniversary was this past Sunday on 10/10/10, which all of our friends thought was just ADORABLE. We spent Saturday in Grand Junction eating lunch at our favorite spot (Olive Garden!) and shopping at the mall. We bought jeans so you can tell how exciting we are, but I also got my ring cleaned and inspected, which is badly needed!

Sunday was much more chill. We took the dogs on a walk and just spent some time relaxing. We went to dinner at Pahgre's, which is a local pizza/pasta/italian place and ordered our favorite pizza "Paradox Pepperoni." The sauce is nice and spicy and it tastes amazing! We got home to find a bunch of our friends. Matt had planned a surprise anniversary party complete with champagne and Coldstone Creamery ice cream cake. I'm so proud of him for planning something so adorable! I had a great night with our friends celebrating and can't believe it's been a year.

It is so nice to be able to spend life with Matt. We've been fairly inseparable since college and it's nice to know somebody will always be in my corner. Looking forward to the next steps in life with him.

Now for some fun...here's what we were doing last year!

The Journey Into Adulthood

After spending yesterday on the absolute longest walk of my life I decided this afternoon would be great for a little R&R. We decided to take the dogs on a walk yesterday because it was still super warm out. Lately we've been about 10 degrees above our normal weather, which I love and hate at the same time. I love that it's warmer because I'll be miserable when it gets to winter, but I'm not a fan of it being so hot outside since I love fall so much! We walked to a local coffee shop around here that we love called Coffee Trader. They have about 20 different types of frozen coffee drinks, which just so happens to be our favorite type of coffee! I enjoyed my favorite "the Alp," which is basically a caramel frappe with much better coffee. Matt enjoyed the "Choco Cocoa," which is basically a double chocolate frappe. By the time we walked there from our house we were exhausted, as were the dogs. We drank our coffee and about four bottles of water and took the long walk home.

Today we decided we really needed to clean the house. We woke up early thanks to the dogs and were finished cleaning by noon. The entire house is now clean and I feel great about it!!

We also decided to re-decorate our bathroom, which makes us feel like total adults. We live pretty boring married lives now. We spent last night buying new stuff for the bathroom and then cleaned the house today and did some more redecorating. We're pretty lame!

We also bought Buster and Bella a new toy, which Buster LOVES. He did put a hole in it and tried to eat the squeaker, but he still likes it even though it doesn't squeak. Enjoy the pictures of Bella pulling Buster across the floor by the toy.

And now for your viewing enjoyment....PICTURE TIME!

Our bathroom BEFORE.

New shower curtain with a pretty black, white, and gray skyscape.

New picture on clearance at Target. It has the same skyscape idea with similar colors. We used black and gray towels and the white has some red. The next step is a red/burgandy bath mat and a red seat cover to give it some color.

Bella pulled Buster across the floor with the toy in both of their mouths.

These next pictures are them being disgustingly dirty. It rained one day and we didn't have time to put them inside so we left them out and this is what we ended up with. Two gross, dirty dogs!

Sports Editor!

We have a few pieces of new and exciting news. First- Matt has been promoted to Sports Editor! He got called into a meeting with the bosses and was a little nervous seeing as how he just got laid off a year ago. He walked out with the sports editor position so all he has to cover is sports. It's going to be tons of work as we saw last night, but he definitley deserves it!

I created another blog! I know, I know what gives? Well the more I watch television the more I begin to realize how much I love it and wish I had somewhere to voice my opinions on new and recurring shows. I just posted my first post. Check it out here: http://ecstaticentertainmententhusiast.blogspot.com/

On another exciting note: I've officially finished two classes of my MBA and have a 4.0 GPA. I've never had a 4.0 EVER and am much more excited about my MBA now that I'm doing better than I thought. Honestly I was freaked out to go back to school, but now that I'm where I am now...I'm excited! My last professor gave me GREAT feedback on all of my papers and presentations so that really helped. At KU I didn't really get that type of feedback. They give you a grade and that's it. This is the first class where my work has really been appreciated and it feels good.

That is all for today: check out my other blog and I'll post some pictures on here later. :)

Happy Dog Birthday!!

Sorry for the delay in posts, but we've been super busy lately! On August 25th, 2009 our adorable puppies Buster and Bella were born. Our friends decided to give us one as a wedding present so we chose Buster. Nobody wanted Bella so we decided to take her as well and our lives changed forever. I miss them when we leave them and love the feeling of being around them.

On Wednesday August 25th 2010 we celebrated Buster and Bella's first birthday! We bought them some dog ice cream in peanut butter and vanilla flavors and they LOVED IT! One of the funniest things was when Bella decided to put the whole thing in her mouth. It took her a while to realize it was cold so she would spit it out on the floor and then lick it up. Here are a few pictures!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the cutest things on four legs, Buster and Bella!

Toy Destroyer!

I don't have much news to discuss, but do have some fun photos to post. We just got back from Kansas and bought the puppies a cute little yellow tire shaped toy. Buster loved it because it made noise. The other night I was focusing on writing a paper and turned around to find the toy completely destroyed. Buster looked pretty proud though! Here are some cute pictures!

P.S. I just wrote my first blog post on my other blog! www.lifeviascrapbooking.blogspot.com. Check it out!

Scrapbook blog and movie reviews

I don't have much on the way of an updating side, but do have a few new pieces of news. One, I started a new blog! I've decided that I need a hobby in order to have some more fun in my life. Well, I already have a hobby...scrapbooking! I started back in the 4th grade and used to do it all the time, but recently haven't had the time. Follow my life through my hobby at http://www.lifeviascrapbooking.blogspot.com/

Now for a few movie reviews. We saw "The Other Guys" and "The Expendables" this weekend. The Other Guys was okay, definitely not great. There were a few funny quotes, but for the most part it wasn't that great. I walked out feeling like we wasted money going in theaters, but oh well. I give it 2/5 stars.

Matt also took me to the Expendables this weekend. I was pretty excited considering how many action stars were in the movie. Don't go into this thinking it's going to be a great movie. If you go into this movie knowing that it's a typical Stallone movie you'll be okay. The action scenes were AWESOME, but the dialogue and plot line were TERRIBLE! There were a few laughable quotes, but in general the movie wasn't good. The funniest part of the movie is the part where the "govenator" shows up, but it only lasts like two minutes. A definite RENTAL movie for the action scenes, but definitely don't spend the money in theaters. I feel that this movie needs two reviews. It gets a 1/5 for plot and dialogue, but gets a 4/5 for action scenes.

Yikes!

Let me start by apologizing for my lack of blog posts. I've been feeling super stressed lately with the last paper I wrote for class and now that it's over I might finally have some free time!

To catch things up: I'm in week 4 of my second MBA class. I've written two papers regarding management and had a hard time with both of them. Although I thought it stunk my paper on the Verizon mission statement got me an A+ and great reviews from my professor. Not going to lie: it was a HUGE confidence booster!

In puppy news: Buster and Bella have learned how to get underneath the porch (boo!) so we spent a few hours moving stuff around so they couldn't. I don't think we would mind as much if it wasn't DISGUSTING underneath our porch. We've been weaning Buster off of his kennel at bedtime and he's done pretty well. The hardest part is that he loves to jump on the bed at 3 or 4 in the morning, which we hate. I think he's pretty smart though because he chooses a time he KNOWS I'm too tired to put him back to bed so I leave him on the bed. Silly boy!

Other than that we just got back from a weekend getaway in Kansas. We spent a majority of the weekend in the Kansas City/Lawrence area seeing as many friends and family members as we could! It was a super long 15 hour drive, but the puppies did fabulously well! They spent the first five or so hours trying to figure out what we were doing, then relaxed and slept most of the way!

Thursday night we got lunch with my best friend Brenna and boyfriend Drew. We spent Friday in Lawrence getting delicious burgers from "The Burger Stand" in downtown Lawrence. Then I took Brenna to get her first pedicure. This hour pedicure and gossip made me realize how much I miss my girl time with Brenna. She's one of my best friends and I have such a blast when we hang out.

We went out to dinner with our friends Megan and Dusty. We drank some margaritas, ate some delicious food, and visited about life. I forgot how much I missed spending time with them. We spent Friday night at my favorite bar in Lawrence, the Sandbar, and was glad to see that nothing has changed. After witnessing a Hurricane (google it!) and slugging down a couple of Shark Attacks I remember what I love about that bar.

Saturday was our day with the least amount of activites planned. We visited my brother, sister-in-law, and nieces in Lenexa because my brother just got his gallbladder removed (ouch!) and weren't sure if we'd be seeing them at the family reunion on Sunday. After playing UNO and Mancala with my nieces we headed back to Brad's place where I took a much needed NAP!

Saturday night was a BLAST! Our friend Sasha had an awesome house-warming party and we ended up taking a FREE suburban to a nearby bar. After drinking too much we headed back home where I woke up with a killer headache, ick.

We headed to Seneca on Sunday for a family reunion. It was SUPER hot and humid, which I definitley don't miss about Kansas. We got to visit with my favorite aunts, uncles, and cousins and got to wish my favorite and ONLY! little brother a happy 20th birthday! It's still scary to think that he's 20! We then went back to my parents house where I finished my paper and was taken out to dinner by my parents.

Overall, the trip was a great success. Made me realize how much I miss Kansas, but know that things will work out the way they are supposed to. Thanks family and friends for the FABULOUS weekend! Miss and love you all!

And because the blog needs some excitement, here are some fun photos!

Aaron, Erin, Matt, and I enjoying our time at Saints!

Puppy Power!

Not a whole lot of news in the Lindberg household, but a few cute pictures!

I just finished my second week of school! It went surprisingly well considering I have to get re-adjusted to doing homework during the week. I did find that if I do things early in the week then it allows me more time during the weekend to hang out with my husband and puppies! I had to do a powerpoint for our week three presentation and it went really well! I was surprised at how much came back to me in such a short period of time. This class was just the intro class though so we'll see how it goes.

In other news, we're going to Kansas in a couple of weeks!!! Matt and I are pretty much already stressed out again from work so this extended weekend vacation with family and friends is a welcome change. We'll be spending some time in KC to see some friends. We'll also be spending some in L-town visiting friends and visiting our beloved campus. Last time we went back to Kansas we walked around like tourists and took pictures on all the campus landmarks. This time we need to find a photographer to follow us around and we can re-do wedding pictures in Lawrence or something. Let me know if you're interested! ;)

And to make this post interesting, I have some new puppy photos! On our way back from Telluride this last weekend Buster fell asleep on my arm. He looked super comfortable and adorable so I didn't move my arm, even though it fell asleep many times.

San Francisco Vacation

Sorry for the lack of blog posts recently, I've been in San Francisco on a fabulous vacation with Matt! Only downfall was we had to leave the puppies at home and I missed them like crazy! I called our dogsitter almost every night to make sure everything was okay. I also cried when we left so I felt like a huge baby, but everything ended up being fine.

Well, other than the fact that most of our clothes ended up in the backyard. Our dogsitter had some teeth removed and took some painkillers. When he woke up all of the clothes they could reach and everything they could find from the bathrooms was outside in the yard covered in dirt and grass. Most of it was just clothes which is all washable so not a big deal. But they did manage to destroy one pair of my shoes, a pair of slippers, and my FAVORITE stuffed animal. I'm pretty bummed about the stuffed animal, but Matt promised we'd fix it.

San Francisco was fabulous though. It was beautiful weather the ENTIRE time we were there. It was 70's and 80's the entire week and gets chilly at night like it does in Colorado. Couldn't have asked for better weather while we were there. Matt went to the U.S. Open at Pebble Beach and had a blast. We went to Pier 39 and saw the sea lions, Brooklyn Bridge, and the most fabulous sports shop ever. Literally has every single sports team EVER. Noni and Papa bought us matching KU sweatshirts which are crazy comfortable! We spent most of the week lounging around and watching TONS of movies. Only downfall is that on the day we were supposed to go to Napa Valley (i couldn't wait) I got food poisioning and ended up in the bathroom for a majority of the night. Total bummer on that one.

We watched TONS of movies this week and I'll post a couple of quick reviews if anybody was planning on watching them. I watched "Whip It" on my ipod on the way to California. It stars Drew Barrymore and Ellen Paige. Ellen Paige has an extremely strict mother who wants her to compete in pageants for scholarship money. She finds a brochure for roller derby and competes. She ends up becoming one of the stars of roller derby. It was a really good movie! It had lots of cute and quirky moments. Ellen Paige is fabulous in it. I give it 3.5/5 stars.

I also watched "The Lovely Bones" with Mark Wahlberg. Wahlberg's daughter "Suzi" gets murdered by a neighbor. It's a good story about what happens after death. She shows herself in many ways to the family and ends up helping her dad figure out who murdered her. A few weird twists, but overall a decent film. As long as you are ready for some depressing moments. I give it 3/5 stars.

We watched the "A-Team" with Matt's dad and this ended up being WAY better than I thought it would be. The reviews weren't fabulous, but as an action movie...it really rocks. It stars Liam Neeson and Bradley Cooper. Liam Neeson and Bradley Cooper make this movie. The action scenes are all really well done and the scene at the end is absolutely incredible. Definite 4/5 stars.

We also saw "Toy Story 3" which makes us seem pretty lame, but considering how much I love children's movies I had to see this. It stars all of the original cast, but some additions. Andy goes to college and the team gets dropped off and donated to a daycare. The dictator teddybear sends them in with the toddlers. Good movie with tons of cute and quirky parts. Definite must see 4/5 stars.

On Friday we saw "Grownups" starring Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, Kevin James, David Spade, and Rob Schneider. They become friends over a championship basketball team and when their coach dies- it brings them and their families back to the cabin they spent time in at as kids. Lots of funny parts, some crudeness. 3.5/stars

If you wanted to watch one of these, now you know! Happy Reading! And now for some San Fran photos!

Happy "early" Father's Day!

I know I'm a bit early for Father's Day, but since I'll be in California on Sunday I figured I would write my incredibly meaningful blog today.

I know everybody says that their dad is the best, well mine truly is. Ever since I can remember he's been there for me. He may not have always said his true emotions outloud, but it just made the times he did express it that much more meaningful.

My dad has taught me so much about life and how to live it. As a father to seven kids, he always made sure we had what we needed, even if it meant struggling a bit to make it work. He put six of us through college and is currently working on the seventh. I don't know too many men who could do something quite like that.

He's taught me to be responsible, well-spoken, polite, and most-importantly hard-working. It is one of the best things my dad could have ever taught me. While I was working 40 hours a week and going to college full-time I had quite a few people wonder how I could manage. It comes from my dad's hard-working attitude where if you want it bad enough and work hard enough to get there, it's all worth it in the end!

My parents were never the showing emotion type. We didn't really say "I love you" or hug everytime we saw eachother, but the times that I saw emotion from my dad are some of the best and happiest moments of my life. For example, the day of my KU graduation. He gave me a big hug and told me how proud he was of me. Explained how difficult it is to graduate from such a good school. I had tears in my eyes.
Another time, I had flown back to KS from CO for a bridal shower in May 2009. He brought me back to the airport and walked me to my gate. Gave me a giant hug and told me how much he loved me and just wanted me to be happy. I still cry thinking about this time. And the most recent one- as he was walking me down the aisle on my wedding day. He was trying to make me cry and I was avoiding it like crazy! We got to end of the aisle, he gave me a hug and kiss, told me he loved me and walked away. And that was that.

These moments remain some of the happiest moments with my dad. Not to mention all of my memories from when I was little. I'd put on my railroad hat and sit on his lap. He looked quite a bit different then- with the long hair and sideburns! He'd pull out my favorite book and read to me for hours. This is one of my favorite things about my dad. No matter how busy he was, he always had time for his baby girl. And now that I've moved away and got married, I still remember the important things. Like no matter what he'll always be there for me, to help me through life, and to guide me in everyway he possibly can. Because he's my dad, and he's the best.

I love you dad, and thank you for absolutely everything you've ever done for me.
Happy Father's Day!

Everything Dad

A little girl needs her daddy
To love her with manly charm,
To soothe her when she’s hurt,
And keep her safe from harm.

A girl needs her dad
To show her a man who’s good,
To help her make right choices,
As only a father could.

A woman needs her father
Just to be aware,
He’ll always be there for her
To sustain her and to care.

You’ve been all these things, Dad.
I hope that you can see
How much I treasure you;
You mean everything to me.
